AUSANGATE / 6 DAYS AND 5 NIGHTS
This
snow capped mountain is in the south east of the
city of Cusco from where you can appreciate it,
this is one of the reasons because it was
worshipped by the Incas, they considered it a
god or Apu. On its slopes the biggest
peregrination of the Andean world takes place,
"el Señor de Qoyllor Rity". Now the old god is
still worshipped by the Andean population,
representing an Apu or spirit that protects the
Andean population, and they offer it the fruits
of the earth.
